Over the last 18 months, Scanwel has focused on the growth and development of the business. Part of that journey has included investment into the team and ensuring the right resources are in place to provide the highest levels of service to its customers. In line with that commitment, Scanwel is pleased to have appointed two new members to the team.

Alun Harry, Manufacturing Manager
Scanwel is delighted to announce that Alun Harry has joined the business as Manufacturing Manager. With a Production Manager background within a global engineering business delivering to sectors including aerospace, automotive, oil/gas and medical, he brings with him a wealth of relevant experience. One of his first roles will be to complete a comprehensive audit of the company’s manufacturing function, identifying any areas for improvements, to ensure the high level of product quality continues.
Precision is paramount
Commenting on his new role, Alun said: “I have an extensive knowledge of production best practice, but I am looking forward to learning about this industry and vacuums in particular. It will be fascinating working where true engineering precision is paramount, driving the relevant metrics to ensure our key performance indicators are met or exceeded.”
Driving business growth

Samanthan Malkin, Operations Manager
Scanwel’s second recent appointment is Samantha Malkin, who joins the company as operations manager. Samantha will be responsible for ensuring all processes are being followed and that the team is facilitated collaboratively to continuously improve these processes. Samantha says, ” I am thrilled to be given this opportunity to join a well-established but rapidly growing business.”
