Scanwel, leading provider of expert solutions in vacuum, surface, and nanoscience technology, has appointed a new business development manager as part of its ongoing growth strategy.
John Dunbar joins the business this month (December), bringing with him over 20 years’ experience working within the vacuum sector, as a key account manager for one of the world’s leading valve manufacturers. He will be working closely with Scanwel’s existing account management team, looking to further develop relationships throughout the sector.
Finding the right solutions
John, who is a mechanical and process engineer, started his working life on an indentured apprenticeship. Over the years his focus has shifted to become more customer-focused, working closely with the customer to understand their needs and finding the right solutions to meet them.
John explains: “I am pleased to be joining Scanwel at this time. The company is in the early stages of an exciting journey, and I am looking forward to the challenges this will bring. Scanwel have neatly positioned themselves to collaborate closely with customers to be a solutions provider. The team at Scanwel certainly have the right pedigree to ensure we excel and I am looking forward to being able to contribute to augment the solutions benefits, relationship and customer experience for Scanwel’s client base.”
Strengthening the team
